Received by Prof. Adrian Groza, Vice-Rector for IT Infrastructure and Digitalization, the delegation was introduced to AIRi@UTCN’s vision and guided through the Institute’s current and future facilities. At a key moment for defining Romania’s priorities within the future EU budget, the visit provided a valuable opportunity for AIRi@UTCN to engage directly with decision-makers on the strategic importance of investing in AI research, innovation, and advanced research infrastructure, and to contribute to the broader dialogue on the role of artificial intelligence in Romania’s long-term development priorities.
The AIRi@UTCN building is being developed through the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca’s own funds, reflecting TUCN’s strategic commitment to building a strong and forward-looking AI research ecosystem.
