Paul Dolea

Paul Dolea is a scientific researcher and lecturer with 24 years of experience in satellite and space communications, geophysics and radio science, and space technology education. He holds a PhD Summa cum laude in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (2016) and currently teaches Satellite Communication Systems and Microwave Engineering at the university.

His research expertise includes microwave and radio physics, satellite communications, antenna design, space surveillance and tracking, measurement instrumentation calibration, and time and frequency metrology. He has contributed to numerous national and international research projects, including RoSSA, IntraSAT-Tech, SDR4SST, HiSAT, LEOSCOPE, URSA, and RDAntenna, and co-founded the Astronomical Observatory Mărișel.
