Rareș Călin Buta received the B.S. degree in Telecommunications Technologies and Systems in 2018 and the M.S. degree in Communications Integrated Systems with Special Applications in 2020, both from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUC-N), Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He received in 2024 the Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, and Information Technologies from TUC-N, with the dissertation entitled “Contributions to the Implementation of SDR-based Systems in Satellite Communications”. He is currently Lecturer with the Department of Communications, where he is responsible for course and laboratory activities in Microwave Engineering, Cellular Radiocommunications, and Wireless Systems. His work focuses on SDR-based system implementations for satellite and defense applications, private 4G/5G networks, and the integration of communication and sensing technologies in 5G network infrastructures.
