Symbolic AI and Digital Twin for Energy Monitoring and Operational Deviation Detection
This project develops a proprietary intelligent system that combines interoperable hardware and software to monitor the energy performance of industrial equipment and detect operational deviations in real time. By using symbolic AI, fuzzy logic, and digital twin technology, it enables analysis, alerting, and operational optimisation even in the absence of Big Data. The solution is particularly relevant for SMEs seeking to improve efficiency and align with emerging European requirements on energy efficiency and predictive maintenance.
AI4INO: Integrated infrastructure for research and innovation in AI
AI4INO aims to develop an integrated regional research-development-innovation infrastructure dedicated to the testing, validation, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, conceived as a reference hub for collaboration among academia, the private sector, and public authorities in the North-West Region. The infrastructure will be oriented toward supporting AI-based applications with an immediate and visible impact on society and toward stimulating innovation processes in strategic fields, in line with smart specialization priorities and with the objectives of the National Strategy for Research, Innovation and Smart Specialisation 2022-2027, as well as the specific objectives of the North-West Regional Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3 N-V) 2021-2027.
